Photo Friday!

Students in the Thriving Minds After-School program at Charles Rice Elementary are participating in a special residency around Art for Darfur. The students worked with professional artists from Today Marks the Beginning, and have created shadowboxes around what they would provide if they were Great Peacemakers. Enjoy!

  1. These are my students!!! I am so proud of them! Especially, Mrs. Camp, our incredible art teacher who teaches our children, "If it is to be, it is up to me," and "Art is what happens when you let your feelings flow."
    Way to go Tigers!!!

  2. Those kids did such an incredible job onstage - and we got to see their impeccable behavior again today on the tour of SMU! We were so amazed at how polite and interactive they were with the administrators, teachers and students who spoke with them. We hope they enjoyed themselves!
